Founders Dinner Better Than Ever!

Our Annual Founders Dinner was a huge success! Not only did we spend time reflecting on the accomplishments made possible by our volunteers, donors, and sponsors in 2018, we exceeded our fundraising goal. During the February 23 celebration, made possible by Andigo Credit Union, we recognized seven important partners for their outstanding service and dedication to the WACO mission - to serve and bring positive experiences to children living at or below the poverty level in the Woodfield area. Hats off to our awardees:

  • Volunteer of the Year: Scott Modglin
  • Volunteer of the Year: Becky Modglin
  • Lifetime Volunteer Award: Barry Fishman
  • Lifetime Volunteer Award: Linda McGill
  • Distinguished Service Award: Bill Benedict
  • Distinguished Service Award: Geri McCall-Barrath
  • Benefactor of the Year: Links Technology Solutions
  • Benefactor of the Year: Andigo Credit Union
  • Corporate Partner of the Year: Action Fence
  • Corporate Partner of the Year: Identiti Resources

Volunteers are the lifeblood of WACO. Without your help, we simply cannot do all the things we do each year. At WACO, we are all volunteers. We do not have any paid positions. From the president on down, we all help whenever and wherever we can. Whether it be as a committee member or as a volunteer on the day of an event, we hope you will consider joining us.
