Donate To WACO

The Woodfield Area Children’s Organization is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We do not have a brick and mortar building, nor are there any paid positions. As a result, we are able to use 97 cents out of every dollar to directly aid impoverished children living in Chicago’s northwest and western suburbs.

Although we are small, WACO makes a significant contribution to the advancement of the children we serve. We are known for our annual Christmas program where we take more the 500 preschoolers shopping for themselves and their families. But we also provide thousands of books for the children to keep, a summer reading program with incentive prizes, school supplies, nearly 500 new winter coats, underwear, socks, hats, gloves and mittens, Christmas toys for several thousand local children. Most recently we’ve added both a new technology program designed to help bring the children we serve up to speed with their more fortunate peers, and another program that aims to help disadvantaged youngsters take educational field trips that are not provided for in their low-income preschool programs.

But without the donations of generous individuals and businesses, none of this can be done. Your financial support provides more than 20 percent of our budget, and without it we would not be able to fulfill our commitments.

Your support is greatly appreciated. There are three ways to donate:
